Good News on Salech / Very Good:

Sun Jun 29, 2025 2:44 pm

Salech hasn’t got a relegation clause, wages low, still young, I expect the club put on an £10m valuation.

I don’t think many clubs would take the gamble after just four months in the championship / but I am told Tan will sell.
I really really hope I am wrong.

Surely with all the players that have left there's room to increase his salary asboth a reward for last season and an incentive to stay on next season?

Fingers crossed he and Robertson stay salech will be a beast.next season

Need him to stay at all costs we have struggled for 5/6 seasons or since Moore left we would be mad to sell and even Robinson will have a field day in this division,
keep them both and we have a chance of getting out of this division it's all about goals and they win games.

BBM is the football media's darling; there must be something in it. I can't see too many youngsters leaving, he was coaching £50 million players about the same age as them a season ago; they will want to see what all the fuss is about.

I think we'll have a very young, athletic, talented team.

I'd make Salech capatain

That’s a good call Llan Bluebird - making Salech captain. He would lead by example, opposition won’t take liberties with him and the other young lads would look up to him.

Hope it’s true. But I. Reality what else were they going to see when put on the spot like that. Don’t mean it isn’t true though I guess.

Since Moore and Wilson left we have been struggling up front.

We know that Salech is a good find from last seasons performances

why sell , When we have found our diamond in the rough,

So hope he stays and the large price tag puts other teams off?

We need to get a leader of men by example to be our captain and Salech has also shown that on the pitch.

Salech has quickly become a cult favourite. Good guy. Plays 100% and genuinely looks happy to be here.

Could the January window potentially be the problem?

If Salech keeps scoring, could a team challenging for promotion in the Championship take a gamble? If one of the bigger sides are struggling and need a striker maybe they would take the gamble in January

If we are up there for promotion ourselves, then we will have to be firm and reject every bid.

If he’s one of the big reasons we are near the top or top.

Earning a few mil and then missing out on promotion could be even costlier. The club has to be smart about that.

Totally agree mate. Your lady sentence could be the potential problem though.

Absolutely agree but we all know Tan is a moron and doesn’t look at the bigger picture. If a club comes in and offers what he thinks is a decent fee I doubt Tan would turn it down

Hope they both stay as if the club wants to bounce straight up having those two will make a difference.

We definitely need Salech but a bit of £10m for a player who has hardly played 4/5 months of British football.

I can’t see anyone bidding that sort of money so hopefully we’ll have him until at least January and if we’re going well then I’d guess he’ll stay.

Good idea, they can shop in Curry's then.

Now that would prove Tan is serious about the club.

Giving them a better wage also puts the bidders off.
