Fixture congestion

We now have 5 competitions to juggle this season so I wondered what sort of teams/how seriously we will be taking each competition

League One - Most important obviously
FA Cup - First Team
Carabao Cup - 1st team/Kids
Vertu Trophy - ??
Welsh League Cup - Kids

A lot of people will say League only - which is fair enough - but I think a cup run in any of the other options (bar Welsh League) would add a bit more excitement which we havent had for a long time

League is the number one priority. BBM says he expects to be fighting at the top of the league and trying to win the league.

If we achieve promotion I don't buy the argument that a cup run brings excitement. Doesn't a promotion push have enough excitement?

FA Cup will probably be from the first team squad, but using fringe players. Carabao Cup mostly young players.

Vertu Trophy will be a chance to win a cup competition so we may take that seriously.

We need balls to the wall promotion push. As we found last year, cup games have a false impression and may have sapped some gritty performances from the team.
