Robbie Savage

Robbie Savage is set to leave his job as Macclesfield manager to take over at Forest Green Rovers.

Last season, Savage guided Macclesfield to promotion to National League North.

I thought he owned them ? .

Savage leaving for another team will be no different to any other manager changing job.

I could of sworn I read he'd just signed on for another couple years with Macclesfield. Safeguarding them with a couple quid compo maybe

I know he gets a bit of hate sometimes on here but I don't mind Robbie.

If you bump into him, he's always happy to discuss City even though he has no connection to the club.

He used to stick up for us on 606 back in the PL days, when Chris Sutton was having a go at us every week.

Think he still does 606, not sure if Forest Green will allow that to carry on.
