If you could ask BBM questions...

I would respectfully ask that as he has been waxing lyrical about the youngsters ever since he got here is he trying to manage fans expectations that our youth is the way and the only way this season?

If Tan started interfering in tactics and team selection what would he do?

Have you been told in effect that you are going to have to make a silk purse out if a sows ear?

How many experienced signings are you expecting to make before the season starts?

May not be to everyone's taste but fair questions.

To be fair, I think those questions were answered in his press conference and interview.

He is not using young players as any sort of excuse. His exact words were "we expect to be right at the top of the league and trying to win the league."

He has his way of managing football matches so there will be not interference.

He said we'll be looking to bring in the best talent from other clubs, said a club of this stature can attract a certain calibre of players.

If we don't sign many experienced players then that's down to the manager, he has his way of doing things.

So I think the questions have been answered.

Exactly.
BBM’s interviews were quite precise and informative. They were positive and certainly lifted me. Of course words are easy so let’s just support and wait and see what happens.

Some people are just looking for negativity in every aspect.

We have a new manager, a new way of playing (hopefully) and new players coming in.
Why can’t people look forward with hope and enjoyment of a new, and again hopefully, an exciting season?

I'm not Tan fan, been very vocal about wanting him gone. But long gone are the days of the owner interfering with the tactics/set up. I know he phones managers after games asking why player x didn't play, why didn't this happen or that, but i don't buy into the fact he's interfering with tactics and line ups

we got relegated with Riza so i seen alot of "tan picked the tactics/line ups etc" if we won promotion to prem last year, people wouldn't be saying "tans tactics and selection won us promotion".

my questions to BBM would be

Will we see a high intense press, other clubs had one against us and we crumbled time and time again, and we gave opposition teams far too much time and space on the ball

in the final third, are we going to see changes to how we approach attacking the opposition, last season, we would put the ball wide, have 4 men stood around the ball, stop cut back inside and pass it along the box, eventually losing the ball without ever really putting in a dangerous cross or putting bodies in the box.
