Cardiff City to play Swindon Town at home in the First Round of the Carabao Cup

The draw for the First Round of the Carabao Cup will take place at approximately 4.20pm on Thursday.
This year will also see a preliminary round involving the two clubs promoted from the National League and the two clubs who finished 21st and 22nd in League Two last season - these matches will be Accrington v Oldham and Barnet v Newport. This is due to an increased number of Premier League clubs in European competition this season.
The First Round draw will as always be regionalised between North and South.
Cardiff City are in the South section and ball number six.
