Does anyone know why Tan refuses to sell, or prices us out of any sale?
I personally don't understand why he wants anything to do with the club. He's clearly losing millions every year.
He has no love for the club, proven by the fact he never comes here.
Why doesn't he just get rid? He's never going to get back what he's put in.

I’ve worked with these multi-millionaire types and it always comes down to one thing - their pride.
It would be an embarrassment to him to leave us in a poor state. He thinks his enemies will use it as fuel against him.
Problem is, he’s a terrible football club owner, and we’ll never see success while he’s here. But his pride gets in the way of him being able to see that.

I often wonder why, is it pride or does he seriously love being the owner of an "English" football league club?
He is a businessman who has bought a company that hasn't worked as he thought. In any other business, he'd sell up quietly at a loss. Entrepreneurs win and lose; it's the nature of the beast. He and his children are incredibly wealthy, so any losses from Cardiff City won't affect them.

It's very strange. Is he just that rich that keeping or selling us doesn't really affect him.
He definitely likes the power. Proven when he interferes in decisions that most owners don't get involved with.

Presumably you define success by having a prolonged spell in the Premier League or actually lifting a major trophy ?
If not then I would suggest that we have been successful under the ownership of Tan, having had two promotions to the Premier League and a League Cup final.
I agree that he's not the greatest of owners and I want him gone but you can't dismiss what the club has achieved under him.

It's because he can....in my opinion.
Debt/negative feedback/relegation/drop in all revenue.... he can swallow it up.
There's also this Salah case cloud that he may believe is the lottery ticket out of here, but it feels like he just doesn't care that he has an under performing football club(s) in his portfolio.

Don' t know why he is that bothered about the pride thing at his age surely he is winding down ,i know he probably wants to pass on to younger family members but they can live with that.
The thing I was thinking is he has gone awkward in his old age as most do and possible loosing it a bit and they tend not to listen to anyone,
or perhaps in there culture younger family do not tell elders what to think or do where as here we would be more outspoken and possibly say are you loosing the plot etc.

Although owning us has cost him an absolute fortune on paper he has put in well over £100 million of his own money.
However, What you have to remember is that with all these multi millionaires who own numerous companies and businesses they can write loses from different companies off against tax etc
So although on paper it looks like he’s lost millions he actually hasn’t lost as much as you would imagine
Still even if his losses are not as great as we think I’ve still got no idea why he continues to own us it’s all a bit of a mystery?

Spot on. He even had to use his mother as an excuse to back down over the red

he has an ingrained hatred of the fan base due to the fight over the red, he's vindictive and enjoys making us suffer, the money side means b
nothing to him

I think it's worse than that, more like he just doesn't care about the CCFC fans or their constant (mostly justified) whining.

Can ask same question to sheff wed owner? Players about to not to be paid for 2nd month in a row..... players have right to leave which is going to happen ...they've already got transfer embargo will now get other sanctions for latest problem.... owner is demanding the prospective new owners pay 5m compensation/loan for "rohl" who refuses to return to club..... and he won't leave he's turned down several bids
If not careful they could be threatened with relegation like reading almost was in similar circumstances with their owner....and people think tan is bad?

So why would tan leave as he's got none of Sheffield problems

Because he has no idea about running a football club.
