Confirmed that Rinomhota has also gone

Following talks with First Team management, Cardiff City FC can confirm Andy Rinomhota will depart at the end of his current agreement, on June 30th, 2025.

Andy joined during the summer of 2022. He appeared 84 times for the Bluebirds across three seasons.

Rinomhota won Players’ Player of the Season during the 2024/25 campaign.

His professionalism, tenacity and work rate endeared him greatly to the City support.

We’d like to thank Andy for his service and wish him all the very best for the future.

Deserved a new contract after last season.

BBM obviously has his way of doing things however and will want players to play a certain way.

A real shame as he was one of the few who put in the effort last year. Probably offered too much of a reduced salary for him to accept knowing he could get better from a championship club especially with his player of the year award

100% the right decision. He was one of the few players last year that played with any heart but we need fresh voices and a fresh start. Good luck to him, a great professional.

Wrong decision to let him go in my opinion because with Ralls going too, we've barely got any fighters left in this team.

Fingers crossed BBM knows what he's doing here.

personally I wouldn't gave been too disappointed if rino had been offered a new deal but the fact he's leaving fills me with hope that BBM has a few of his type of players in mind to bring in. Again only my opinion but I won't be distraught to see ng, chambers, willock, robertson and turnbull going either for exactly the reasons above. these players showed little bottle when we needed them last year and again I think BBM only wants his type of players, about time too.
