Ramasut not involved / Purse back to U21s

It is understood that some members of Omer Riza's previous staff will not be involved in Barry-Murphy's setup. Tom Ramasut won't be included, while Darren Purse will resume his role as head coach of the under-21s.

It likely means Cardiff will be a body short and it might be something that is addressed in the weeks to come.

Back to instilling the losing mentality with the youngsters!!!

100 per cent agree should of gone with riza the u21s were better without him awful coach

Not sure what the Purse thing is on here. Its strange.

Kpokio, Lawler, Giles, Colwill J, Nyakuhwa will make up a chunk of the squad next season, surely thats his job, to get them close to the first team

I suspect that it might be the case that BBM is giving DP a chance to prove himself - just like he is with every other player.

BBM knows what it takes to turn useful youngsters into 1st team players and I suspect he has people in mind who could eventually take over that role. I suspect, if he sees youngsters not progressing, he wont wait till the end of the season he will jump on it straight away.

From speaking with one of my photography friends, Matt, who is the club photographer at Man City I understand that Under 21s were allowed to regularly train with the 1st team squad and I hope this happens at CCFC.

Rome wasnt built in a day and it might be the case that DP works better with BBM than he did with Omer Riza - but I am confident that BBM will be keeping a very close eye on the U21s.

Due to BBM’s enjoyment working with youngsters I honestly think Purse is in the last saloon. If he creates problems he will be gone. So he had better toe the line.

Purse record was awful.

It does not matter how good you are if Purse dislikes you he won’t recommend you for the first team.

I’ve not met a younger player who likes him.

But Tan loves him???
