Good deal if we can get it
Tue Jun 17, 2025 2:25 pm
Snap their hands off!!
I will believe it when it happens, as I don’t want to raise my hopes at this stage.
Tue Jun 17, 2025 2:30 pm
Would happily take that for him.
Tue Jun 17, 2025 2:46 pm
Great business if we get it but we will need another striker. If Salech stays it can't rest all on his shoulders. Davies is too injury prone and Etete is useless.
Tue Jun 17, 2025 2:46 pm
take the deal now before any of them change their mind
Tue Jun 17, 2025 2:47 pm
I will be gobsmacked if we even get a fee for him.....Great news if we do.
Tue Jun 17, 2025 2:47 pm
Take it if that’s what they are willing to pay.
Tue Jun 17, 2025 3:07 pm
Was expecting him to leave on a free but if we can get 50p for him I would snap their hands off.
Tue Jun 17, 2025 3:16 pm
I will go out of pocket and drive him to the interview and medical myself, knows where the net is yes, but of the laziest and selfish and injury prone players to where a Cardiff shirt.
Tue Jun 17, 2025 3:28 pm
Would rather keep him if we could, for goals if nothing else, he gets them and in important games and at times last season proved that, without his gaols whould have been a lot worst.
But being realistic would probably need to sell him, or he wants the move to play higher anyway.
So would take 2 million or more if we could.
Tue Jun 17, 2025 3:31 pm
If we can get our money back, I’ll settle for that. It would be nice to think that whatever we get would go into BBM’s transfer pot.
Tue Jun 17, 2025 3:31 pm
Defo sell. Always injured. Falls out with people. Would need a replacement though. How many more times - Davies is too small for a forward. He is a winger with pace.
Tue Jun 17, 2025 3:42 pm
As long as we hold onto salech
i'll be happy and add another tidy striker it's been our achillies heel for to many season and if salech needs a rest or is injured we are back where we were before.
Robinson has always blown hot and could I. In he' s tapping the badge on his chest then he' s sulking in the stand and his kermits the frog impersonations on the pitch waving his arms about.

The problem is:
The money would go straight to Tan.
Tue Jun 17, 2025 4:30 pm
Not sure why he gets so much criticism?
His work rate is not great but he scored 12 goals after missing many games last season in a team that hardly creates any chances
£2 million is a bit of a snip

Totally agree with you.
We need players like Robinson.
The money would be kept by Tan anyway.

The comments on this site are really helping us get a decent fee for him! He is going to be so pissed off we will have absolutely no bargaining chips left and he will go for peanuts.
He was our top goalscorer last season despite being out of the side for a while. Not always injured as everyone seems to point out but out of favour with that that clown we had as a manager. And has everyone forgotten how he once played on with an obvious hamstring injury when we had used our substitutions. He should have been subbed that day but who ever was manager (Bulit?) stupidly kept him on and he missed the rest of the season. He has his faults and I know he isn't exactly a chaser back but that's not his game
I would love to see a fit and raring to go Robinson in our side but I ain't daft enough to think that's nailed on, so if we can get our money back that would be great.
Tue Jun 17, 2025 4:36 pm
If he goes we should get the value of his 2 year contract plus 500k.
He scored 12 goals in a relegated side so is worth much more than 2m.

I doubt the opinions of a group of grumpy middle-aged men make a difference in the highly analytical world of football transfers.
18 goals in 3 seasons, but a lot of clutch goals means someone will fancy a punt in him. He isn't your main man anymore, but as a squad player, somebody will take him in the championship. We aren't fishing in that pond anymore.

He doesn't want to stay.
Why keep players who don't want to be with us?
Get rid.

He does not deserve the criticism he gets at all. But 2 million for an aging player in league 1 is quite good for us. We usually let them go for free or for a few 100k. Obviously I’d rather he stayed but let’s be realisitc. Hes too good for league 1.
Tue Jun 17, 2025 5:01 pm
Get rid and if we can get 2 million even better
Tue Jun 17, 2025 5:05 pm
I'd rather keep him but if he wants to go I'd say 2m is a fair enough price. He's actually a decent player with good experience. He potentially could have been a handful in league one but could be useful in a squad for most championship clubs.
Tue Jun 17, 2025 5:09 pm
Get rid...terrible attitude
Tue Jun 17, 2025 5:15 pm
Keep him regardless as we need someone to score against the Jacks….oh bugger.
Tue Jun 17, 2025 5:31 pm
£2 million for a striker that scored that many goals for the worst team in league. What a bargain the club are clueless.

If the club paid 2 million for a 30 year old striker you would be up in arms about that.

If you can get championship wages, contract or no, you are getting championship wages.
It's all well and true to say insert relegation clauses, but when they are enacted, they want out.
These are contractors. If you are on brickie on £300 a day, you don't want to take £200 a day because the house builder can't afford £300. You just stop and find a £300 site.
Hopefully, Willock wants out as well.
Tue Jun 17, 2025 6:22 pm
Get rid of him asap
