Madness in my view.
No fan of Chris Wilder but last season the bloke got them 90 points and 15 minutes away from winning the play-off final.

Gary O'Neil hot fave for the job, in the microeconomy of the yo-yo manager category.

Yes it's strange that people think there are lots peps or josè out there? But in reality all there is are recycled coaches getting off roundabout every 9mnths (Ave time b 4 sack) to catch next job.

Agree, better off with him and building on what they already have. They didn't go up but were from a total disaster, just fine margins.

I have never been impressed by a Wilder team. He is a blood-and-guts, overachiever, relegation type. They were bang average when they played us, just Kieffer bullied our centre halfs.

Sheffield United are in 'advanced talks' to appoint former Reading boss Ruben Selles, according to national reports.
The Spaniard was much-loved by Royals supporters for his work during the club's toughest period in its 154-year history.
Leading the club to a 17th-place finish upon their return to League One, despite suffering points deductions, the Royals were fighting for promotion all season last year before Selles opted to move to Championship side Hull City.
Keeping the Tigers in the second tier, while taking over sat adrift at the foot of the table, he was still sacked at the MKM Stadium. So too were his coaches, James Oliver-Pearce and Tobias Loveland.
Sheffield United are on the hunt for a new boss after controversially sacking legend Chris Wilder.
Leading his boyhood Blades to third on 92 points, their highest-tally, Sunderland pipped them to promotion in the play-off final.
