The new Cardiff City Head Coach talks about transfers:

Mon Jun 16, 2025 10:13 pm

Brian Barry-Murphy:

"We'll be looking to bring the best possible talent we can in.

We're in a unique position where we're the only club from Wales in League One and the only club of this stature in the league that can attract a certain calibre of player.

We'll combine that with the best talent we already have."

Over to you Lee Riley - Good Luck :bluebird:

Cardiff have also confirmed that Manchester City academy coach Lee Riley will join as Barry-Murphy's assistant head coach.

Riley joins from his position as both academy coach and European emerging talent scout, which will no doubt have its uses in what will be a crucial summer transfer window.

He previously worked with Barry-Murphy at Rochdale, too.

I like that there is a reset and all the talented young players start afresh with a chance to impress and step straight into the first team. Add to that a new scout and BB-M's connections, and it will be interesting for sure.
