I hope he does great but:

Here we go again.
He's spoke about his time there. Acknowledged he made mistakes and learned from them.
The fact he went to arguably the best academy setup in Europe afterwards showed he was still highly rated after that job.
I'm excited by the appointment.

I said I hope he does great. Sorry for upsetting you by passing on the opinion of someone who knows him better than us. It wasn’t meant to upset people. I hope he gets loads of ex and current Man City and brings back the good times. I’m not convinced though. Dear dear.

Just frustrated that people have brought up Rochdale's fans view about 100 times.

Judging by what my better half tells me many fans of other teams are rubbishing him but how long ago was Rochdale? And people really dont like us!

Fair play mate. I live in Manchester so I talk to fans of Rochdale, Stockport etc all the time.

That's fair enough, my initial reply was probably a little too aggressive due to frustrations that weren't your fault so I apologise for that.
