Are they going to announce the new manager what's the hold up????

Not just yet....I guess!

It’s just pathetic. Even though many on here says it’s all done. As of just now it’s not. 8 weeks. Just awful. And don’t give me all that nonsense about having to tie things up with Leicester. The process has taken nearly 8 weeks to date and as he is such a small fry at Leicester there can’t be a lot to sort out. Meantime we lose even more time to the start of the season. Pathetic.

Brezza, it literally is a case of tying up the loose ends (some but not all were with Leicester City) before the announcement, which was/is expected today

The 8 weeks you talk of, have NOTHING to do with this particular signing and the full story will out in due course with one individual being up for some fierce criticism

And how have lost (quote) “even more time to the start of the season”?

Not aimed at you but the only thing ‘pathetic’ is people being impatient and starting 1/2 hourly threads on the same topic when both club and appointee need to do their paperwork, gather new staffs, and sign forms. It isn’t as easy or straightforward as some might have you believe

The ‘positive’ is that we now have a manager coming in, who can work with our youngsters and create a style of play that will be more pleasing to the eye than what we had last season

An untried manager experience except at league 2 level which he eventually got relegated mainly been involved in youth football yes at man City higher level than our youngsters but youngsters still the same I was against riza from the start because he had no experience this guy just the same really let's be honest it's a gamble which ever way you portray it I will give him 15 games hopefully I won't need to come back and say I told you so fingers crossed

People are seriously underestimating the size of managing Manchester City. It's huge and completely different to the PDL which our academy play in.

My own theory is people would have criticised whoever was appointed because they have let their hate for Tan influence every thought they have about us.

I've had a feeling all along that there's more to this saga than meets the eye. Sounds mad I know but a change of ownership would justify the time taken so far as a new owner would want to make all the announcements. No proof just wishful thinking on my part.

Worcester and Sven - I actually agree with what you mostly say. From my part it’s utter frustration. Nearly 8 weeks to appoint a manager despite its complications however is very very poor. You can be assured that WHEN the appointment is made he will get my full and total support- especially if he gives our youngsters a chance.

I said I will back him and assess after 15 games mist usually only give 10 games I can't help being abit negative considering the appointment of riza as manager who I knew after the Luton game away we lost 1,nil he wasn't the manager for us every week I stated this fact where did we end up? Relegated league one I rest my case over an untried manager let's just see after 15 games if he is the manager everyone wants I hope he works out I'm not against him I want him to be successful because we all benefit from a great season ill say no more about this until game 15
