Any sale of a club takes time.

Even if Tan accepted an offer today it's not like it would be done by next week.

The new EFL checks are far more rigorous, people don't only have to prove they have the money but also show where the money has come from. That takes at least six weeks, sometimes longer.

I also wouldn't be surprised if Dalman is involved in some way and he'd be happy to keep BBM.

New owners at the top clubs will sometimes want their own manager but that's the case far less often at a lower level for clubs like us.

That may be the case in terms of the parties reaching an agreement but like I say, the ratification process would delay things.

Even if Tan accepted an offer now (no reports he's accepted an offer yet), then by the time it passed all the tests it wouldn't be until August at the earliest that it would go through.

Obviously we can't go without a manager until August.

But if we got new owners, I think they'd stick with BBM anyway.
