FATHERS DAY

Hopefully all the Dads amongst us are being treated well and for those that have lost their Dads hopefully you have many happy memories to take comfort from :occasion5: :bluebird:

Nice post.... I'm not a father, but lost my own dad a couple of years ago. He was a City fan back in the late 50's and 60's and often spoke of the brief success we had in those days.
His favourite player was Alf Sherwood. :ayatollah: :bluescarf:

Thank you, lovely reply, luckily my Dad is still alive (86) also a huge city fan, I sent him a photograph of the 59/60 team this morning Tapscott, Malloy et al. He ingrained in me the saying “ Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened” which in the modern game is largely mirrored by a minutes clapping instead of silence :occasion5: :bluebird: :old: :occasion5:

my dad took me to my 1st BLUEBIRDS game when I was 9yrs old I can remember the Real Madrid game like it was yesterday been a bluebird for over 50yrs myself and my two sons are st holders thank you Dad
