I thought the same, but I've seen a few Reading fans saying they don't want him because he's not the same player he was when he did well there.

It obviously didn't work for him with us and the relationship between him and the fans was difficult.

But fair play to him for putting out a well-worded farewell statement.

It was a difficult time here for you which sadly never quite worked out but you never stopped trying to keep us up. Good luck for the future wherever that takes you.

He stepped up to the mark when we needed him to. Good luck to him.

Wel could have done with him next season. In my opinion definitely our loss.

I remember him tearing us apart every time he played against us, not sure how many he scored but he made some of our best full backs look useless at times.

Never really worked here for whatever reason, I think he was unfairly slated as he always tried, just not enough end product. It’s worth pointing out he is not alone in that though

He was shite, consistantly. Just effort alone shouldnt mask that it didnt work and he was poor for the majority of his minutes.

Poor signing. I wish him well, but glad to see him off our books.

Didn’t work out for him here and it’s best he moves on.
