As part of our pre-season preparations for the upcoming 2025/26 campaign, the Bluebirds will travel to Spain for a warm-weather training camp.
The First Team squad will travel to Murcia, in the south-eastern region of Spain, for a week of warm-weather training in early July.
Our training camp will conclude with a friendly fixture (opponents to be confirmed) at the Pinatar Arena on Saturday, July 12th.
Supporters will be able to attend this match, with further details, including kick-off time and ticket prices, to be announced in due course.
Information regarding additional pre-season friendly fixtures will also be confirmed in the coming weeks.

Even by our standards, I’m surprised this has been announced without a manager

I’d suggest with this announcement a manager is in place

I’m checking who has a villa in Spain but the camp is not in Majorca, so I can confidently announce that the new manager is not Forever Blue!

Announcement of other games in the ‘coming weeks’. In other words, NONE arranged. Same as the one in Mercia - the local pub team. Sorry to be so pessimistic- no announcement of a manager again today. Gets me depressed and Sooooooo annoyed.

Come on, Brezza, cheer up! An announcement due soon and it will have a couple of surprises, if not the choice of the main man

Well at least someone somewhere is doing something even if nobody knows who we'll be playing yet, that could be manager dependent.

I liked the day where we played teams around us like a Barry Town or a Taffs Well or somewhere similar.
I mean it's not like Cardiff will be playing teams like Elche or Valencia in League 1 in term of the teams quality.
AND it could mean that we might not face anyone at the Cardiff City Stadium in the pre-season tour so fans who can't go abroad to see Cardiff play wont be available to watch them at home.

This is the same training camp Arsenal have used on numerous occasions in the past?
Ramsey will have been here and used these facilities many times before..just a coincidence?

See your point but Taffs Well etc aren’t a great build up either.
I think maybe they’ll do a few local ones before going and then Spain then hopefully one or two games that’ll stretch us when we get back - ready for season start.

What's the point in a pre-season friendly at home when there'd be 2k there?
This is warm weather training so we also have a warm weather match. It's what most clubs do.
It doesn't matter about the quality of the opposition friendlies. It's about building fitness levels and playing against different styles.
We may well have some local friendlies but this is much more valuable than any of them could be.

...plus it'll hopefully help them to bond as a squad.
