That's a massive reduction in income.

Also a massive reduction in wages and expenditure, with wages so high it is a chance to make the playing side of things more realistic

That's very true but it's in region of 12m less money for city..... one advantage is owner can put in more money than in championship.. but at end day you do not want to be stuck in div 1 for more than one season otherwise income will drop more meaning when or if get promoted it will cost more to get parity with championship. Clubs

You can see the difference in dropping down a League - But a least you get the chance to Win the EFL Trophy ;)
