We might as well with Ramsey!

He is still undecided about his playing career and I have a feeling he would prefer to call it a day sooner than later given his injury set backs. Cardiff through and through and despite his inexperience the others being mentioned are not world beaters.
May be he is creating all this uncertainty but perhaps Tan sees the opportunity of a Welsh connection rather than the limited experience of the others.

I appreciate Ramsey has only had those three games and in an impossible situation. However Tan did give him the nod and if you were in the room with Tan and offered the three favourites being bounced around in the media candidates (none of whom have an exceptional background) he might throw them all out and fall back to Ramsey again.

He's said a few times that he wants to keep playing until the next world cup (if we qualify) so there's that but I think one day he'll manage us, just not yet.

None of the candidates are setting the world on fire .Ramsey though eats sleeps and drinks football. He has worked very hard in his coaching and has worked at the top level in football. He also knows a lot of people in football and would draw in some quality I think.He sets very high standards he's welsh he's a cardiff city fan loves the club.
I'd have no issue in given him the Job he would give it the respect and effort the job demands and he knows the club.
One big issue is Ramsey would want to make changes on the structure but would tan let him do what he wants .

If Ramsey wasn't a Cardiff lad I doubt very much that anyone would be calling for him to be manager.

People have this romanticised idea with him because he's one of our own.

The club needs to sort this mess out.l before we fall any further. We need an experienced manger. Now is not the time to give the job Ramsey who has only managed 3 games. Otherwise it's just the same old cycle. Eat sleep repeat

I suggest going with Ramsey in the current context of only a couple of alternatives being considered. Who knows what is going on behind the scenes? The bookies have now installed Ramsey as favourite 2/5 at the moment and given the list of candidates being suggested my preference would be to go with Ramsey if he decides to give up his playing career. Financially I think Ramsey is already earning about £50k per week with us and not much more would sort out his salary.
I think his strong Cardiff and Welsh background is a plus and will engage more with the fans but I do accept this is a bonus rather than essential. I am old school but I do like to strengthen the fact that we are a Welsh Club and somehow hope someone with a Welsh background would buy the Club asap.
