Give Tan and Dalman the stadium

Wed May 28, 2025 9:29 am

Hear me out.

Tan and Dalman continue to loan the club money, substantial amounts, on a monthly basis to a failing club. Why? Dalman is creaming it off interest payments to the club and Tan is forever increasing his equity. Equity and loans will be secured against the club’s most valuable asset, the stadium.

We are at the mercy of this system until either 1) the club is sold or 2) the loans exceed the value of the stadium.

Let’s hand over the stadium now, lease it back off the two Ronnies at an agreed rate dependent on a % of the revenue of the Club. They are then incentivised for Cardiff City to do well. If we go up, they benefit, if we go down, they lose out. The deal is honoured whoever they sell the stadium on to (the Council, FAW?).

The stadium is worth nothing without Cardiff City, other than a few Welsh games and the odd concert. Let’s take back control and leverage our position. If we had to break contract and go somewhere else we will. We survived the move from Ninian, the club will always survive in some shape or form.

The stadium may not be worth much without Coty there but the land is worth a fortune for other purposes

The £12 million put in each year by Vincent Tan:

£3.8Mill goes to Dalman interest on his loan to us that Tan print would never happen.

Dalman & Choo who work for Tan in London, get £1Mill plus Wages from Cardiff City.

Tan gets the Shirt Sponsorship of Malaysia worth £1Mill a year.

Tan gets all the Malaysian Companies airlines / holiday places taking up 85% of the advertising on insides of the Stadium and outside worth £3Mill.

All Tans / Dalmans / Choo’s expenses travelling / hotels / food etc etc are down to Cardiff City £1Mill a year.

Plus every year Tan has wasted money on Court Cases, Cost Our Club £Millions upon £Millions over the years.

That Despicable Rebrand over 4 years Cost Our Club £50Mill plus.

The FAW would dive at the chance to play Wales home games at the egg stadium, they would have no issue with bailing on the Cardiff City stadium.

Football clubs are in a mess financially due to owners selling ground and not club? Coventry to name one had to move out for many years because landlord booted them out... most famously Wimbledon lost their ground ! so its last thing that city needs to do in fact the new footballing zsar needs to make it illegal for owners to sell ground without selling the whole club...
