Player contracts?

So with no manager and a retained list done - WHO EXACTLY decides on who stays and leaves? This is an important question because this is about players and their ability so it needs someone who understand the physical playing of the game and not just commercial values.

Well got until end of June for contracts that end this season bit later window opens so really not a lot to buy unless it's freebies
And hopefully by end week we'll know who's going to make those decisions ?

The retained list has to be filed by the 3rd Saturday in May so someone has decided. It doesn't have to be made public then but some clubs do

Very odd as few clubs release that list as contracts last until 20th June? But thought only players needed to be told not the whole world? Guess we do what the other clubs do when got no manager at this time which there are several ! "NOTHING" except players who don't want to stay who look for another club

So my point is - WHO is that someone?

Probably get told by owner/ chairman that no decision be made until new manager is in place but they are free to look for other clubs if want to if their contracts are coming to end (30th June) it only effecting them so very few players... several clubs got this problem so we're not unique..
