Annis,

Would be a good choice and good option for us for next season.

Knows the league well, did very well with a struggling Bolton side and I definitely don’t think he would be a yes man and would stand up to Tan.

We have missed a manager to stands up to Tan and takes no prisoners when it comes to lazy underperforming players

He says he’s been offered it and I doubt he will turn it down, unless Commander Tan says he gets to pick the team lol.

I am not for him at all Matt.

I don’t hear anything good.

Interesting.

Is this the general thought of a lot of their fans?

Yes the majority

It always turns sour. There are very few Fergies or Wengers. The trick is knowing when to get out.

Warnock must have been sacked more than any other manager but he is god like to most of us.

Klopp, Pep, or Evatt couldn't have won promotion with our team last season as the squad was disjointed, slow, massively overrated, and overpaid. We managed to assemble a decent L1 squad.

The hard truth is that most fans talk through their hearts rather than their heads, they are not neutral so they believe they are better than they are.
The top 4 of L1 had decent budgets, apart from Etete, none of their players are worth more than a couple of quid according to transfer market.

We need a manager with League One experience. Evatt fits that.

Would he be my first choice of the realistic options? Probably not - Des Buckingham is the stand out name in my view.

Those dreaming of Steve Cooper etc are living in a different world, he's not dropping to L1.

Nathan Jones is even unrealistic, even more so if he wins the play-off final on Sunday.

So would I be excited if it's Evatt? No, but I wouldn't be too disappointed either.

Selles or Rob Edwards for me.

It was mentioned to me a few weeks back that Neil Harris was in talks.

I doubt Harris was in talks, we'd have to ask permission from Cambridge to talk to him and no reports of that.

While VT controls the budget, Dalman and Choo still around and unfortunately what will be an even quieter stadium next season as Nash will be keen to make sure L1 doesnt ruin his awards, the manager et al doesn't matter who it is to be honest :bluebird:
