I agree.
You can have the best team in the league but it matters not if the tactics are wrong.
Did we have the worst team on paper in the Championship? I don't think so. But we were the worst performing team, a lot of that is down to tactics.
Likewise, Spurs and Man Utd don't have the fourth and fifth worst squads in the Premier League - but that's where they are.

Brian Clough is my all-time sporting hero but this was said in a time when you assumed managers would create tactics that maximised their player's characteristics and talents and were recruited because of those skills.
Nowadays, we have managers whose philosophies, systems and tactics are paramount over their squads capability to enact such said systems.
Amorin and Anges just show they are one-trick ponies who shouldn't be at the elite level.
Pep has the best and most expensive centre forward but doesn't play to his strengths with £200 million of wingers sitting out most games as you are supposed to pass teams senseless in Pepball. Pep's little fanboy Arteta also believes in that system over reality and has gone another season without an elite striker, and again hasn't won anything.
Its insane, practical managers like Slot, Frank are seen as over achivers rather than the others being under achievers.

God, how I wish we had a no nonesense manager like Brian clough. And players with a bit of skill and grit. Play for the CCFC shirt.
