What does Cardiff City mean to…

Us as fans of the club.
If only Tan could read this, he would understand that it isn’t just a toy that he has bought, to do whatever he wants to.
This is just my own thoughts on the matter of what Cardiff City means to us as fans. Obviously others will have different/additional views.
For us as Cardiff City fans, this isn’t just football, it’s more than that. It’s part of us as people, a culture, a way of life and is deep routed as part of our identity.
We are the capital city of Wales, we are flying the Welsh flag in the domestic football league, we are the biggest and most successful club in Wales.
We as fans aren’t the type of fan that would be found in a United, Liverpool or Man City shirt. We didn’t pick Cardiff, Cardiff chose us. The majority of Cardiff City fans have grown up in Cardiff families, where our parents and grandparent have ‘passed on’ their love of Cardiff City through the generations.
The division we are in, isn’t the big problem. We as fans have been through some tough times supporting OUR club, almost dropping out of the football league.
The fans were here before Tan, and will be here after Tan. We might be fickle, we might say or do some silly things, but we are fiercely loyal to our club.
In hope that this makes its way to Tan in one way or another, you may own the club, but you cannot eradicate our history, you cannot ruin our club.
This is our club. This is Cardiff City.

I totally agree with you mate.
The problem is, despite Tan now being at the club for 15 years, he has no idea what "owning" a football means. A football club belongs to the fans, the "owner" is the custodian of that club and he has failed miserably in his role and will continue to do so.
He doesn't care less about us "customers" and I believe he's making us suffer cos he had to turn us back to our rightful colour of blue.

Why would he care?
He's a 73 year old, worth over £552m. We are just a play thing for him.
The sooner he leaves the better, we need our identity back.
