Ned,
But every time some Fans want to Stand up to the Hierarchy, from The Trust right through to other fans they don’t unite with the Fans who want to Protest, so their lyes the problem.
They moan moan moan and do nothing, other than slate those fans who are trying to stand up to Tan

Not arguing with that Annis, just want everyone to turn up against Tan but still supporting the team.
I was on the last protest as you know, but the numbers should have been better than they were.
Just don't understand why people still won't protest against him, then we can all be united.

Then, on the other side of the coin, there have been countless posts from people who are seen as leading figures in the Tan out movement that have callled fellow supporters spineless, Tan loving, pathetic, the list goes on. Jonny himself posted a thread on here which slagged off the fans.
There was a post recently on here putting things into perspective. I think his name was Paul, where he mentioned he was battling cancer. Some things are more important than football at the end of the day and people have their own concerns that they are dealing with which means that football isn’t their number one priority.
Then we move on to a small minority of our fans who are posting and saying things which are out of order or completely deluded in my own opinion.
“Burn the Malaysian flag”
“Storm the boardroom”
“Pig faced mother f*cker”
Now as I’ve said this is only a small minority of fans and not the masses, but I wouldn’t want children to be around that type of behaviour at all.

Any chance you can give this a rest now yes I said stupid things but does it help bringing it up all the time? I’ve said how frustrating it’s been following the club past few seasons and I’ve said things out of line. What are you trying to gain by bringing it back up all the time?

It’s bordering on obsessed you brought me up in a Lee Trundle thread too ,please just give it a rest now. I don’t own a Malaysia flag thankfully anyway we were planning peaceful protests I said something outrageous which I regret. But you keep bringing it up all the time. Please just give it a rest.

I used to be of the same opinion as you that people should protest and run Tan out of town. The problem is, we didn’t collectively do it when he changed our colours, badge and identity. From that moment on he knew he could do whatever the hell he wanted.
I admire your passion Annis, and I like you. In fact I stand up for you quite a lot as I know what you do comes from a good place.
When you and others start calling people out, me included, for not attending protests, that’s when you lose people’s support.
I was going to protest but didn’t for a few reasons,
1. Because I genuinely don’t think Tan gives a flying f**k what we think
2. Because of people being called “Tan lovers” and other childish insults for not getting behind protests
3. Because some of the abuse towards Tan was racist or bordering on racist
They’re my reasons for not attending and should be respected. I’ve boycotted and demonstrated more than most, the fact that I don’t think it’s the way forward now doesn’t make me any less of a fan.

Simon,
I’ve known you for a long time.
I’ve never ever been Racist.
First I stand up for our Our Club from the heart as you say.
Yes I am really hurt that not enough stand up.
What hurts as we is the amount who call for protests them don’t attend or if we win two games everything is suddenly good.
It actually does hurt Tan as he hates bad press.
Yes I am Proud of those who stand up to the Hierarchy.
Yes there actually were a lot of Tan lovers after he stripped us of our identity and yes I will never speak to them again.
Thank you for saying you’ve stuck up for me appreciated.
The funny part to this day NO has ever said anything to my face.
For me they are cowards and mainly keyboard warriors because all I want is nothing but the best for Our Club.
And we do achieve things when we protest, we get bad publicity for Tan, plus we feel good and proud and passion comes back.

The racist point wasn’t aimed at you at all mate, should have clarified.
I understand the hurt that people don’t stand up but that doesn’t mean they love Tan.
Personally I’ve had lots going on in my life, I’m 45 and I haven’t got room for it at the moment.
Trust me though, the day Tan leaves I’ll have a party.
I just don’t think the infighting helps at all.
