We are LEAGUE ONE not PL

I’m shocked to see that so many people, even after our relegation believe that we should be bringing in a big name manager, or believe that we actually can.

The expectations of some are bordering on delusion.

We have had chances to bring in those types of manager, and we didn’t.

Why would we try now given that we are now a league one team?

I’ve seen people calling for Cooper, Stuber, and even EPL managers.

Take a step back and realise where we are next season.

Be realistic.

I agree with your comments. I've said many times that a lot of fans must live on a different planet, as they can't grasp the enormity of our situation and how badly the club is run.

Totally agree about some managers mentioned. But by same token people say we can't attract anyone useful and that's just as bad as its not true! Simply because tan wont employ anyone he's never heared of? Bulut was Dalmans all rest tan kept it in house because knew th. em.. we ate a good catch for any decent manager just need to be asked

Doesn't explain why fans are turning their noses up at managers who have a great record in League One - like Karl Robinson.

Ned as you know they'll find anything to have a moan about ? They'll say josè is Portuguese don't want him!
Let's just hope the 3 amigos learned from past 3 appointments and get in someone like Robinson.

Dont we Normally offer 2/3 year contract... so expect new manager to get same ..

We used but we didn't with Bulut (just as well) or the guy before him & many suggested it was why we didn't get anyone better than Riza.

Either way we certainly need to be offering 3 years as that seems to be the norm.

It’s a sad sad situation and it’s getting more and more absurd

I think some fans (Not All) will expect us to adopt the Birmingham model for exiting the league.
Secure signings that will power us up and back into the Championship.
Sadly though I would not be surprised to see if there is hardly any investment into the playing squad besides contracts and maybe a few loans and or freebies.
I'm certainly not expecting a promotion party this time next year anyhow.
