Yousef Salech / Wilfried Kanga

Entirely hypothetical question.

But if we'd have signed Salech in the summer instead of Kanga, do you think we would have stayed up?

Or were there deeper issues that saw us go down?

I think we would have comfortably stayed up if we signed Salech in the summer.

Probably stayed up....only because we probably sneaked a win or two
But can say same if rambo had 6 or 7 games

I don't think so because our defence was more than useless & always seemed to find a way to fk it up with seconds left.

I believe we would have.

9 goals in 22 games, this is what we have needed for quite some time.

Robinson, although he got 12 goals also missed a lot of sitters that Salech (most likely) would have buried.

Yes - as a full season or another 16 -18 games added to the games Salech played - We would have needed another 5-6 pts.
That's right 5-6 pts - If he won just 1 game on his own their are 3 pts + those games we gave up points before he was here .

no, the rest of the team is garbage. if we did, it would only be delaying the inevitable.

probably still go down
due to the leaky defending and lack of quality in which creates goal scoring chances for Salech.
basically we cant defend nor can we score.

Great question!

I'd say yes. We needed to turn 3 draws into wins; and there were games where we had the upper hand but couldn't trouble the goal. Cov away is one that comes to mind where Salech could have made an impact.

I also think he would have played in games where Robbo was lazy, and maybe prevented a couple of goals just by tracking down/doing his job.
