Young players Ronan Kpakio, Dylan Lawlor and Tanatswa Nyakuhwa were all afforded game time at Carrow Road, with relegation already confirmed and nothing riding on the outcome of the match.
Cardiff could opt to lean on academy players more next year if they are to cut their cloth accordingly in line with the massive drop off in revenue they are likely to experience in League One compared to the Championship. And those three are some of the more promising talents to come out of the under-21s.
Speaking about the academy, Ramsey said after the match: "This academy has got so many talented players. It's about creating that pathway again.
"For those players to come on, I thought every one of them were superb today. Some of them looked like they had been there doing it for years.
"It's a very proud day for them and it's a glimpse of what we have next season."
