LOVING MESSAGE TO AARON RAMSEY :

viewtopic.php?f=2&t=244580

“This is not the time for you to become CCFC manager” ! Definitely not …definately not yet.

Even though Ramsey has indicated that he wants to continue his playing career …and that one can not mix management with playing (absolutely right)….the fact is that he has clearly intimated in more than one way that he would like the job and now .

Ramsey said “I am open to realign things” …… and”I think I have given supporters something to buy into”…….and “there ‘will be’ a few meetings going forward” ….. and “obviously needs some clarity” ….. and “any manager will be impressed with the amount of talented youngsters we have - FOR NEXT SEASON” .

I believe that Ramsey is angling to become our manager next season .

I am against him becoming our manager - at this point in time . I ask him to step back …..it is not time yet ….if at all . Hopefully in the future but not now . Walk away and prepare yourself and show what you can do …..and then come back to your home ….here where you belong . Not now .

Knowing what Vincent Tan is like ……he very well might instal Aaron .

That will be a mistake . Aaron is not the man for the job ….not yet . But then Tan is a God ….and he may do it .

Personally I would very much love Ramsey to become our manager . He is one of us . I knew him when he was still a young little kid …..when he earned the name “RAMBO”.

What I s saying is definately not yet ……he will burn his career and it is not good for the Club.

I feel the opposite. I think he should take this opportunity learn his trade in league 1 take us up. If his managerial career follows his playing one we don’t want to miss his talent before he goes on to bigger and better things. If it doesn’t work out he can go away get some experience if he proves himself I’m sure he’d be welcomed back again.

I really don’t see how he can lose taking this job.

Not another Ramsey thread

I think it’s time for Ramsey to pack his bags and find another club willing to pay his medical bills.
Definitely don’t want him here as a player or a manager he has rob this club for 2 years

I'm warming to him taking the job on, really am.

Give him the job and persuade Salach to stay.

Get him gone.

Re: LOVING MESSAGE TO AARON RAMSEY : “This

I am in the annis camp here. I think if things went wrong tan and the others would hang him out to dry. And this club is so toxic at the moment no manager worth his salt would even contemplate coming here so no Ramsey get as far away from here as possible.for now

If we don’t try we will never know.

So you saying we need to get another shit manager in then?

I really hope he does become our manager next season.. exactly what we need.. with a good Director of Football I think he would be amazing for us.

I would have no problem if Rambo and Gunter took over and could bring in their own coaches. The myth that a manager has to be experienced has been busted many times in recent seasons.

It's not about experience or inexperienced take look a Carrick at boro no experience but what fid he have a brilliant owner and good backroom staff he's been in around playoffs promotion since started 4 yrs ago and got experience managers languishing in lower reaches of championship fighting relegation rather than promotion... take aside yhe results which are not surprising need take look at way we set up way he sees a problem and trys to fix it as it happens like Saturdays subs... we spent almost as much time in their final third as they did in ours a typical warnock trait..... not say ge should be coach but give him a good assistant or two and player coach could work? Just because we've been burnt a couple of times doesn't mean it will fail with rambo.

I would advise Rambo against it, God forbid we lost 2 or 3 games in a row next season or weren't winning every game, half the fans on here would be ripping into him. Get someone with League One experience to help us stabilise next season so Ramsey can learn from.

Nathan Jones as Manager, Gunter as assistant and Rambo player/coach would be the dream ticket with Bellamy helping out with a few sessions here and there as the icing on the cake

Knowing the 3 clowns it will be Purse, Hudson and Durban

That's how I read it!

I've given it some thought over the last couple of weeks and whilst yesterday was a disappointing result, I believe the squad improved in all areas bar in front of goal since he (and his cohort) took over

Given that Vincent Tan appears almost incapable of hiring a proven manager, I don't see how giving a management team that includes Rambo an opportunity can be a bad thing

Getting success is never guaranteed but young, ambitious coaches have stepped up to the mark at other clubs

Chris the problem is people have been blinded by previous failures .... rambo as shown he's got what it takes to make a success at coach ... stats show massive improvement ......after all he's learned from wenger amongst many good coaches....
Football is unique never a garauntee of anything no matter who the person is or how much money they throw at it...

For me the last 2 seasons 100% has proven we can not keep him as a player.

He was the highest earner and virtually never played in 2 Seasons

I disagree in a away with this.

If the club wants to go it the cheap way, I would go with Ramsey because at least he understands the club.

Otherwise we could end up with another Riza.

My preference has always been a manager with League One experience but no idea if they'll go with that.

We have improved performance levels under Ramsey so if they go with inexperienced, it's him they should go with.

Carried Cardiff to the end of the season, bring in an experienced manager and have Ramsey, Ralls & Gunter here next season great experience in the Three, this will bring the youngsters through to where we want them, then after a couple of seasons he maybe ready, Ramsey learn from an experienced manager along side of them, it will make him great.

We will not get an experienced manager so forget that. Tan will not give more than a years contract, so no good managers will do one year. So that leaves Rambo, may be good for a year see how things go, with some decent coaching staff. However, as Annis and others have said its a tall order at city with the fans getting on his back as soon as things don't go quite right. The only others ones may be Des Buckingham a good up and coming manager, someone like Ian Holloway he may do a years contract but knowing our luck would end up with Wayne Rooney god forbid.

Just what do you expect from Ramsey in 3 games. Do you think that anyone could have done any better?
Ramsey had to work with the players he had.
Due to Riza chopping and changing our back 4 we were always going to let goals in.
We have a very good striker in Salech but any striker needs wingers to put the balls in for him, and we have no good wingers. I am not saying Ramsey should be our next manager I just do not know, and neither do any one on here.
You should lay off Ramsey and if you want to have a go at anyone have a go at the people running the club from Vincent Tan, down to our useless incompetent Board!!!

Spot on Roger.

Respect other's opinion but I just think it's very harsh to judge Ramsey on three games. Would we judge any new manager three games into next season? I wouldn't.

Stats show the performance levels improved significantly when Ramsey took charge.

I'm not saying I want him to get the job but if we're going down the inexperienced route, Ramsey is probably the best option.

You're also right that people should be having a go at the board and to be fair, a lot are now finally.

I agree Allan, well-run clubs can go with young guys with their own ideas as the rest of the club is so well run.

We on the other hand need a general manager to run the whole club as if its the 1970's still.

I think that id you pay to get them out of their contract then Nathan Jones (always my #1) or Dave challinor have done their time and know the game on and off the pitch
