Aaron Ramsey spoke to the press after our final game of the 2024/25 against Norwich City.

Aaron Ramsey:

There were 1,242 Bluebirds in the away end, with Ramsey beginning by praising their support.

“They’ve been unbelievable and I think they’ve really bought into the boys over the last few weeks and the performances that they’ve produced.

"I can’t thank them enough for that. It’s a lot of effort for them to come up here today and support us. We appreciate every single one of them doing that and making that journey.

"Thank you again to them and they’re going to be a huge part of us bouncing back as a Club."

“I was really happy with the way we started the game," Aaron continued. "We were on the front foot, caused them a few problems and had chances. We could have been one or two goals up, but then there’s the sending off and these things happen. All of a sudden, you find yourself 2-0 down.

"Then, it’s about trying to readjust and sort things out. Once we did that, we had more control, pressed their 10s better and had a threat on the counter-attack as well. I can’t fault the boys’ effort today, it was phenomenal. For them to take on all the information that we wanted them to, especially at half-time, it speaks volumes about how far we’ve come in a few weeks.

"When you’re 3-1 down and you have seven players in their box, all sprinting back to clear danger or make an interception, that’s the culture and the habits you need if you’re going to be a serious team and bounce back.

“The message at half-time was that we go on and try and win this half. We moved to five at the back, but we still wanted to cause a threat. They’re a good team and they have some really good players.

"For us to produce a performance like that with ten men, it speaks volumes. I’m really proud of the boys today."

Ramsey :

Played 3 W 0 D 2 L 1

2pts from 9pts

Cardiff in their 125 Anniversary finished Bottom and 2 New Records Worst Ever Start and 34 Games 5 Wins

We can only Blame Tan / Dalman / Choo / Bulut / Riza

And the players, they should shoulder most of the blame.

Ramey with more time I think would have turned them around.

Blame lies squarely with me

a) tactical and motivational incompetence- riza.
b) chronic indecision and utter failure to do the best and act decisively for the club - tan.

We wouldn’t have had a) if b) wasn’t so belligerent and difficult

Ramsey has definitely improved us in my view, I know some don't agree.

But the tempo has been much better.

It was a near impossible job to keep us up and who knows what might have happened if Cameron Brannagan didn't decide to shoot from 40 yards. That would have changed the dynamic of the WBA game.

I wouldn't be against giving him the job, although my preference is still a manager with recent League One experience.

It's definitely unfair to judge Ramsey on the results of three games, one of which being meaningless.

Doesn’t have to be “league one experience” for me, just a damn good manager. Knows his philosophy and tactics, knows how to get a squad playing together and knows when to adapt tactics.

The only issue is being league one may deter some options, along with Tan/board’s ambitions.

He got shit on by the club by only giving him 3 games. Even 3 more, 6 in total would have given him a fair chance.

Cannon fodder and another stupid decision made by this senior team.

Ultimate respect to Rambo for stepping up for us. After a poor season on the pitch, to stand on the coal face and ultimately eat Riza's shit sandwich.

I hope he goes into management now, but not with us (yet). Earn your stripes, and take the roll when the club is in a better state.

We dont need another apprentice in the role right now.

I agree he was not thrown in at the deep end, more like the ocean. What chance did the heirachy think he had of keeping us up with 3 games left, and the first game he only had 48 hrs to prepare the team for it. A definite improvement for the WBA game which we drew and with a bit of luck(shots and header kicks off the line, hit the post, keeper performed brilliantly) we could have won that game, and yesterday's game could have been a different approach and outcome. Who knows he might just have performed the miracle that the clowns hoped for. If they had appointed him at the international break I believe we would have stayed up comfortably.

He was thrown in the deep end, 3 games to go, team playing like they were already on the beach yet he stepped in and gave it a go. I don't believe an experienced manager at championship level could've done any better.
He's been criticised for only winning us 2 points yet if he'd won us 7 we'd have still been relegated, the only way we could've stayed up was to win all three, how many times have we won three on the trot this season? So not asking a lot of him then we're we
None of us know what the plans are from the maniac at the top this coming season so if he gets the job I'll be right behind him and if it's someone else I'll be behind that person also also, let's just give Rambo some respect for giving it a go
