So your second sentence negates your first because if he wants to go it has doesn't show a lack of ambition from us. Now if we put him up for sale then that would show a lack of ambition as we should be trying to keep him & build a team around him.

To clarify, it is suggested that Salech has a clause in his contract to leave if we are relegated. Therefore, if he chooses to go, there is not a lot we can do.
However, if he prefers to stay, but the club pushes him out to make a few bob to purchase 3 or 4 other players, I suggest this can be considered as a lack of ambition by the club, as we should be holding on to goal scorers of his type.
I thought this was rather obvious!

Will club push out the one thing we've been looking for ? Namely a decent striker which no amount of money can replace! Getting 5m for him is peanuts in grande scheme of things money is not the problem its the stupidity of tan that's the issue will he see Salech must stay at any cost if want promotion or carry on his cost cutting excersise for mediocrity in div 1?

He is too good for League One football and it wouldn't be fair to keep him at the club against his will - we did that to Moore and he rightly downed tools.
If someone gives us a decent figure, we will have to accept it.
The fact he has a long contract should help, unless there's a clause in it.

He again hinted he was staying earlier. ... tbh a season in div 1 will do him good as he's still finding his feet he's also finding
it difficult to Play against good defenders he needs time and city will give him that ... no matter what price put on his head city won't be able to replace him and will be depremental to getting out 1st time..
