A forum for all things Cardiff City

Cardiff City U21s play their penultimate game of the season at 2pm as they host Watford.
The likes of Lawlor, Kpakio, Perrett, Armstrong and Wigley all not involved. Simic also not involved but he's been on the first team bench recently anyway.
Suggests they could be in the squad. Although I don't know if any of them are injured.
Makes sense to put them in the squad for Norwich, because they may be part of the first team next season.

I'd start as many as possible in the first team. Championship debut is a high standard in a dead rubber.

I hope we win because I want us to win every game but not many remember who finishes bottom, they just remember who got relegated.
Whether we finish 23rd or 24th, the only thing that matters is we are down.
I don't see the point in playing players who probably won't be with us next season.

Agreed. We're down now, doesn't matter. In a way, finishing bottom is less painful than 22nd on goal difference.

HT 2-0 to city.
Cooke's Brilliant header from a free kick and Twose's brilliant strike made it 2-0.
Speirs is having a good game. If only our first 11 were playing like this, we would still be in the championship now.

Because I moved it to this thread.
It also says in the OP about the academy game.

Yes, I saw that after I tried to find my post, and you would have to open the thread to find Watford mentioned, if the heading said Watford instead of Millwall, I could see the reason for moving it, and I could have found my post easier, it kept saying not available when I went to add the full time score.
