TAN'S CHOICE OF MANAGER AGAIN.

Thu May 01, 2025 1:14 pm

It's going to be a yes man,
someone who he can control as simple as riza was, someone who will not be there own person but manipulated we can all see it coming another horror show.
If he is still here which is more likely with the sala case in september,
he will want the final say he is not going to take a back seat, he hates the fans, why do fans think he will change his ways .

Maybe Tan would be best placed getting advice from King Tan(go) / Agent Orange, as he has surrounded himself with 'yes men'!

Seriously, this should never be Tan's choice, he should leave it to football people - oh dear, we don't have any!

My concern is that Tan has said it will only be weeks before a new manager is announced, which doesn't give anywhere near enough time to get his alleged structural changes in place. These changes need to happen as it is they who will be responsible for selecting the new manager bases on their football expertise and contacts. I can see this being more or the same.

WOL have just published a piece parroting the same concern that a manager is going to be appointed with no DoF or football expertise at board level. This change at the board is as important as a new manager. It can't be down to Tan/MD/KC and SB again or otherwise the madness continues.

I agree with what you're saying but there are plenty on here who will complain because it's taking too long to get a new manager & that we should have one immediately. Damned if it takes time to get the right person in & damned if we don't have a new manager ready to go on Sunday.

We have time for once to not need to make a knee jerk decision.

I know a lot on here don’t think that a DoF is necessary, personally I think this is the first and most important change we need to make.

There isn’t a rush to appoint a manager, as long as they have time to bring in a group of players and get rid of the deadwood.

People will (as someone has already alluded to) complain that no appointment has been made swiftly, but then will also complain if one is appointed quickly and that manager doesn’t do well.

A DOF won't work with tan at helm!
What is more important is a decent man with either his own team or decent manager with rambo and someone else as assistants.... cannot have a manager on his own or either coaches like purse? This is far more important than DOF which recently have failed st several clubs..in fact Leicester blame their dof for relegation because he chose to sack cooper and bring in van Nistelrooy..

Does anyone think that there is the slightest chance that Tan will listen to what Aaron Ramsey said at the awards ceremony about getting football people in to make the correct decisiond for the new season.
