Ramsey Head coach
McPhail DoF

Unfortunately there will be no change of manager.
It will continue to be Vincent Tan.
Des Buckingham's name has done the rounds a few times so maybe he'll get to be Tan's assistant.

No “established” Manager will work with Tan so that probably rules out most of them
Nathan Jones is a possible only because of his connections to the club
So chances are it will be someone underwhelming who will be sacked in October

Charlton look to have a decent chance of winning the League One play-offs.
Can't see Jones coming to us if that happens.

Someone who currently works as a bar owner in the Philippines.

Well with the peanuts that Tan will pay, theres no chance of any big name managers being spotted outside Howells School checking the place out for their kids.

The Chuckle Brothers.

Does anyone actually care?? Another shit show pending under Tan.
Tue Apr 29, 2025 7:22 pm
Manager: Ramasut
Dof: Purse...

I thought this was a novel way for the club to announce the manager, sadly not.
Ive not got a clue. Were there any truth to the Bilic rumours? Would he drop to league one?
Wouldn’t shock me if we gave it to Lamouchi

Tom and Jerry ..would do a better job of running our club than the Clowns that are there at the moment....

I would love to see us go for someone like Dave Challiner, who has a track record of success achieving automatic promotion or the playoffs in every season he's managed for Fylde, Hartlepool and Stockport.
Stockport were 9th in the Conference when he took over in November 2021 and he currently has Stockport third in League 1 behind Birmingham and Wrexham. He would be my number 1 choice.

I think thats a very good call - done his time and knows the lower leagues. Deserves a shot with a bigger club and doubt he would cost a fortune

My mum at 93.
Wed Apr 30, 2025 3:56 pm
Rob Edwards
Wed Apr 30, 2025 5:23 pm
Rob Edwards would be my 1st choice. He knows league 1 from his playing days. Would have Chris Gunter as his assistant and also offer Ramsey a 1 year player contract on a much lower wage with the view to carry out some coaching.

Probably the most realistic looking at some of the totally unrealistic suggestions on here.

https://businessday.ng/sports/article/unveiling-premier-league-manager-wages-for-2024/This is what EPL are allegedly paid. £1million = £19k per week
We have several players who are allegedly on £20k per week,
Now here is a suggestion - Lets lose at least one of these and invest £20k per week in a
Manager
Thu May 01, 2025 11:35 pm
Now that would be a good idea and the Owner must not interfere on matchday

Tan will not relinquish his shout on who should be the leader
Admitedly he surely realises he got it wrong with riza and there is a 1% chance he may leave it to someone else,
but we don' t know what's going on in the background with tan and dalhman ,they will both be wanting there choice first, so we can speculate on who.
My choice would be Nathan Jones but if he is promoted with Charlton bye bye.
So many uk managers to choose from and then we have the unknown foreign that dalhman came up with bulut, first and foremost is who is going to pick the manager, tan said this would be reviewed we shall see.
