For me this was one of the easiest Seasons to get promoted:
Look one of these clubs could be Premier League Soon:
Nothing special about them. Mainly average
Bristol City vs Preston
Coventry vs Boro
Burnley vs Millwall
Sheffield United vs Blackburn

Nothing to shout about are they?
Except Preston in grave danger of relegation....others are all beatable and are going to come straight back down undoubtedly

Every team is beatable this season.
Leeds and Burnley are where everyone expected them to be, but the play offs have been wide open all season.
None of the clubs in the play offs are anything special but id be quite happy with the label of ‘not special’ compared to ‘relegated, gutless, crap’

In my eyes we had the quality of player to finish in the top 6
What we lacked was a manager (like Chris Wilder) to get us there.
Good Quality players were being managed by someone of a lesser standard and who they probably had limited respect for (A bit like Tony Petty at Swansea).
This was evidence from the season long tactic of playing the ball out of defence like were fking Man City - and conceding at least 7 goals (and 12 points in the process).
Vincent Tan needs to appreciate that we are not going to get to the Premier League "on the cheap". That doesnt happen anymore.

Blackburn can make the play offs after a run of 7 losses in 2025.
The standard is poor

Bristol City being there doesn't surprise me one bit. Manning has been building a good project there and I could always see him taking them to the top six at some point.
Coventry being up there is the one that shocks me. When we went there on Lampard's first game as manager they were awful. We would have won that if it wasn't for the very late and controversial penalty decision.
They weren't much better when we drew with them at home.
