Ex city striker Mark Harris

Wins Oxford’s golden boot.

Six goals. Hopefully bodes well for Wales.

Ciaran Brown player of the year.

6 goals is a poor return for any striker in the Championship for a full season. We’ve only had Salech since January and he’s got 6 goals!

Salech has scored six in half a season for a relegated side. Still the right decision to get rid of him.

So poor.

I lost that part of the bet.

Four ex City players in that Oxford team who we were happy to let go - Mark Harris, Ciaran Brown, Will Vaulks and Joe Bennett.

Derby have Ebou Adams, Ryan Nelson, Nathanial Mendez-Laing and James Collins.

We were happy to let all these players go, but they're still Championship players.

Why? Because Oxford and Derby brought in proven Championship managers and unlike us, they actually TRIED to get the results to stay up.

You can add Josh Murphy who was at Oxford and now with Portsmouth who stayed up .

Nobody shed a tear when any of those left. I’m pretty sure of that.

They didn't, and I still think it was the right decision to let them all go.

NML has the ability to stay but there were well documented off the field stuff that meant there was no choice but to let him go.

As I’ve said before it shows how much we know.

Warnock would make a pretty decent team out of players we let go for free.

Ciaran Brown has been exceptional this season.

No doubt, but he was a prospect when he left and we had decent CB's at the time. Going down to develop his game clearly has helped.

He'd moonwalk into the current defence. Win some, lose some.

You forgot Nat Phillips at Derby too…. Ex Cardiff player (on loan from Liverpool) put another nail in our coffin scoring against Hull

I think we would have loved him staying.

It’s a Harris thread and acknowledging I lost my bet.
