The club's awards night is taking place tonight - brilliant timing.
Will update this thread with who wins what awards if I see them.
Surprised it hasn't been cancelled.

Let’s hope it passes without any drunken incidents. Should have been cancelled in my opinion.

I wholly disagree, the whole thing should be brought to an end by pissed up fans.
The board and Tan are responsible but the players should take some responsibility. f*cking bottle job cunts half of them

Seen a few videos from tonight's event and I'm sorry but seeing the players smiling and laughing with each other whilst I'm sat here miserable as f**k leaves a bitter taste in my mouth or maybe I'm just a miserable old git lol

Same here. I hope it’s not going to be another Blackpool POF loss feeling as I’ve only just got over that…I think.

That was a tough one to take too. this feels worse than the prem relegations because there’s no hope with the board. No communication we are in the dark . Part time board failing us all.

Prem relegations weren’t even that bad. Second time I even came away feeling proud of the players for their fight.
This however is horrific

I said to my brother after the final whistle after I must admit I shed a few tears, I said to him that this relegation is harder to take than the Premier League relegations as we weren't expected to do well.
Sat Apr 26, 2025 9:50 pm
The PL relegations were disappointing but didn't hurt like this does.
Went into both those seasons expecting relegation, same can't be said about the start of this season.
Can only hope we're celebrating promotion in a year's time, but who knows with this club.

We went down with a team of battlers they did us proud in the prem.We didn’t go down fighting here it was fking awful from the board to stick with Riza. I know the players are to blame too but Riza can’t guide them he was just here because he loved getting seen on social media narcissistic I thinks the word. All those hashtags he come up with bigging himself up ffs. When we used to go down from league one to two it didn’t hurt this much because the players tried. I felt proud of them. This season has been shocking. I can’t see us getting back with the con men running the club.

I’m at the awards night.
Ken Choo just said “work starts tomorrow to put it right next season” but we all know he’s full of shit.

Tell him that talk is cheap, action is what’s needed, and as you correctly stated they’re all full of shit.

I was warned a few times for my choice of language. Tried to get a ‘sack the board’ chant going, but nobody joined in.

Ask Choo is tan going to back the club and new manager next season or is he selling the club??

Nothing on X at all, think the club know we’re all pissed

Oh, they know. Players are avoiding any and all questions.
I wasn’t going to turn up, but I decided to just to see how the players are acting. They don’t give a f**k. Tanner was pretending to cry after the game and he’s proper loving life tonight.

Awards ?
For what ?in any other business if you finshed bottom you'd be sacked and they are actually down there giving out awards .
The wooden spoon is an award .I don't want to be sour about things but come on that should be cancelled how can anyone pick up an award tonight .And we wonder why we are where we are

Was he talking about work in his car sales showroom or the part time job at the city

Should have been cancelled, players simply don’t care or we wouldn’t have been in the position we are to many rotten apples, tanner and that always mess about in the awards night

Not a good look is it ,us fans suffering and there all partying into the early hours .

To most of them (not all) it's just a job & this is just like a work's xmas piss-up to them. most of us don't care how the company we work for is doing either.

You were lucky you wasn't thrown out and banned, the club is run like North Korea.

The silence from the players is deafening, maybe it is club instructions to not post on social media or engage in any form of apology to the fans but it would be nice to know they actually give a shit.
One player has updated their social media, Turnbull....and what did he have to say? Well, nothing about Cardiff but he was celebrating Celtic winning the league yesterday. I know players are fans of other teams and have no issue with that but the lack of acknowledgment for us being relegated but a post celebrating his former team winning the league just about sums up the atritude of this current team, almost like it was under Dave Jones with JLloyd Samuel etc going on the lash before the playoffs. There is a total disregard for the fans and this is something that has been prevalent this season from too many in the squad.
You would think common sense would prevail and he could celebrate/message his former teammates privately. But maybe I am asking too much as a fan of team that I pay hundreds or even thousands to watch every season.
The fans have been let down massively by these under achievers who largely just do not care.

After a night to sleep on this, and the relegation , if sums our joke of a club up that this even went ahead. The fact it was scheduled for this day is a joke, as is the charity match that it due to be played with Trundle attending.
Our club has never heard of “optics” before because the optics are f*cking awful.
Sun Apr 27, 2025 7:51 am
I agree with all of the comments above.
‘Celebrating’ 125 years then getting relegated with virtually no fight and loyalty and passion then they have an awards night!
Should have been cancelled.
Did Tan turn up to present a cup to the ‘winner’?
