I actually agree with him, but the players do not believe it themselves. It would only have needed a few tweeks earlier on in the season but I don't think we had the management to realize it and make it happen.

Too many square pegs in round holes. its a mess of a squad, the head of recruitment needs to go as well.
Kanga and £4 mill on Daland is enough alone.
No pace or genuine width all season. Willock is slower than Chambers and that says something. Ashford is not a wide forward, only Davies is in the entire squad is!!!!!
A left midfield is the left back, a central midfielder is our backup right back, and the centre halves can barely deal with a basic straight ball. No centre forward of any note for three and a half seasons.
Salech is class, but Riza claimed that one

The current squad on paper is ATLEAST a mid table team. But obviously giving a rookie the job would lead us else where, like it has
