How many of our out oc contract players will find new clubs on the same wages as we pay.
What about the players who have relegation clauses, same for them
Too many of our players are not up to it, overplayed prima Donna's who do not deliver..
It's a long way back

Hopefully the likes of Robinson, Chambers and Horvarth all got bought by other clubs to bring in revenue and free up wages. Then we need to keep as many of the youngsters as possible to build a good team, we have a decent enough team to bounce straight back. But we need to keep the majority of our younger players.
The only downside is that now players will be worth a lot less, I'd personally rather go with youth over experience and continue that model. As I've said above we've got the building blocks like Fish, Robertson and Salech, if by some miracle we keep all 3. Add to that Ashford, Tanner, Bagan, Davies, Colwill brothers, King, Turnbull, Daland and Simic (unknown quality) we've got plenty of qulaity to build with. The big question is how many of those can we keep.

There is the shell of a half decent squad, but we need 1 or 2 battle hardened horrible little shits too like Wrexham did.

We’ve been missing one or two of them for a few years.

Talking of players moving on….. we are the 7th biggest spenders on wages in the Championship. Why oh why did we offer a new deal to Robinson. I was dead against it (unlike many others on here).Giving a contract to a player who is 30 years old and whose style of play typifies our failings. Lack of effort, teamwork, fight, and heart. How much will Robinson be getting to trot about expecting to be presented with simple chances on a plate in Div 1 and hardly contributing otherwise.
We need to rebuild with decent young players like Fish and Bagan - prob not on half of Robinsons wage.
I would love to see Salech stay but can’t see it.

We shouldn’t have extended contracts for Robinson, Alnwick or O’Dowda.
Fish, Bagan, Turnbull and Salech apart, I wouldn’t be upset if any of the other players left or were sold.

I’d not be gutted if we never saw any of them next season.

I think some of them moved on a long time ago….

How many Championship Directors of football and recruitment departments are thinking Chambers, Willock, or Robinson will be the answer to their problems?
Correct, none.
The best we can hope for is a genuine mutual deal, as they want out and fancy themselves to get a similar deal.
Salech and O'Dowda will be on their list, but after that, i doubt many more.
The kids may get someone having a punt on them though, but on potential rather than performance (Colwill)

Sell every saleable asset and use the cash to pay off the rest.
We’re not going up next season, best case scenario is that we have a complete reset like we did when Malky came in to 8 senior players.

We definitely have the nucleus of a decent league 1 side if we hold on to the gems.
I thought Turnbull was excellent today. Of all our midfielders I’d very much hope we hold on to him and actually play him. It’s no coincidence that we threatened from corners and free kicks with him taking them today.
Let’s not forget wintle only signed a new contract last season. He’s a seasoned campaigner who will do well In league 1 if he isn’t sold. I’d love to see ralls stay too. He bleeds blue and will fight every game for us.

yes forgot winter he should do well in the lower league. I think we have to accept well lose some gems but with players like winter ralls ring fish alnwick odowda plus our youngsters we should be a competitive side, add in a bit of fresh blood and who knows. Just looking forward to going to a home game expecting to win.
