Promoted club consider sacking their manager

Wed Apr 23, 2025 1:08 pm

Following their promotion to the Premier League, Leeds United are considering sacking manager Daniel Farke.

Farke has been promoted from the Championship twice before, both times with Norwich, but has struggled in the Premier League each time.

Won't be first time talking about having head turned by premier league?

I can see why they're not sure about Farke managing them in the PL, he couldn't compete tactically both times he was there with Norwich.

Depends on who they'd be able to bring in instead I guess.

Burnley might have the same problem with Parker. Great in the Championship but not PL.

Leeds impressed me, but they had on paper one of the best squads so they could go gung-ho. They will get torn a new one again if they try that next season.

Burnley were boring, compact and unadventurous, maybe thats all you need in your first season.

Just to finish off this season, I bet Bristol go up.

both Leeds and Burnley already odds on to come down, new manager may change things but I very much doubt it. whoever goes up via the playoffs will also come straight back down.
