A forum for all things Cardiff City

As some know I have a season ticket at Oxford so that’s only my second Cardiff game this season where I have been in the home end. First off it was weird watching an away team at CCS and knowing more about them than my own team. Secondly, well done on the organisers of the demo. To get this up so quickly was brilliant. That definitely got everyone buzzing at the start. I was glad to be at this and I reckon there were about 25 Oxford fans there and Rosie (Oxford employee and legend) went along as he had seen about it on the yellows forum.
Lastly, and most sadly. That is not the Cardiff I knew. The guts really have been ripped out. Oxford’s captain and scorer of the Worldie is playing on one leg pretty much. His mere presence lifts the fans and other players. Ciaran Brown at the back is also that type of figure too due to last ditch tackles, headers and goals scored where he has put his body on the line, Tyler Goodrham is a home grown player who genuinely looks like he would give his blood for the team. There is a spirit at Oxford that used to be at Cardiff. It isn’t there anymore. I think that’s the fans and players alike.
In truth it hasn’t been there since Warnock left. That’s what we need next as a manager. If Ramsey can get that in I think he needs to be the next manager but if it’s too early then I think Cardiff need to look at Des Buckingham as next manager. They need a manager / coach who will improve the fan / player interaction. He was massive at this in his year at Oxford.
In summary, I think six points will keep Cardiff up and think they can do that.

Disagree that we can stay up but agree with everything else.
We are in a desperate situation and I see we as Bolton right now - a club who had the PL experience but have just faltered and will fester in League One for years.
Saw a couple of Oxford fans who live near Stockport on the train in and they joined the protest, fair play to them.
The goal from Brannagan was top class.
I thought Oxford had their tactics spot on. Knew a point would be enough and well done to them, they got it.
Their fans came across as a decent bunch. Didn't gloat when I saw a few walking back to the city centre, so good luck to them.
