Tony Mowbray brutally sacked by West Brom just three months after emotional return
The Mirror
West Brom have sacked Tony Mowbray just three months after the manager returned for his second spell at the Hawthorns. The decision was announced following the Championship side's defeat to Derby.
Mowbray signed a two-and-a-half-year contract in January but saw the Baggies play-off hopes end after losing 3-1 at home to the Rams. The Midlands side find themselves six points behind sixth-placed Coventry with two games remaining in the division.

A 2.5 year contract & they sack him after 3 months, what a waste of money.

Seriously think we should try and get him for next season now he’s available

I'm a bit confused about this as Coventry are on 66ppts with a goal difference of 5,WBA are on 60pts with a goal difference of 8, so if Coventry lose their last 3 games and WBA win their last 2 games against us and Luton they would be on 66 pts with better goal difference. Obviously there are 3 other teams between the two sides, buEBAt there is a possibility of WBA overtaking Coventry if they all lose the last 2 games, highly unlikely I know, but football is a funny game
