Ashford was (sadly) very poor today and actually out of his depth; just when we needed him (and others)

Personally, I now (finally) think he, Colwill R, and Tanner, should move on. We cannot carry such players in the lower League

However, we could see the best of Meite yet!

Sven, Meite is out of contract in the summer, id be surprised if he stayed, especially as it seems he has not enjoyed it here.

Ashford probably had his worse first team game.

Tanner is not fit. He was rushed back a few games ago and isn't running like he normally does.

Colwill - I've given my opinion many times and a lot don't like it.

But he's not the player they think he is.

Given up talking about him because too many fans think he's Ramsey reborn and he's not - can't be bothered to argue it anymore.

A lot of our youngsters wont handle league one players kicking crap out of them to soft for the Championship. Its the lack of fight and hunger that amazes Me.

In my humble opinion a complete rebuild is needed with a complete clear out, how that works under VT I don't know.

Awful players they are, when a lack of effort is added they become scapegoats. Tanner has shown glimpses but not the case with Ashford. IMO.

Wouldn’t get rid of either, big difference in quality in league one. Both will do a lot better.

I will say, Colwill has been very disappointing the last few seasons. Thought he would have progressed so much more.

Too much holding onto the ball too long and doing little pointless flicks.

Colwill hasn’t kicked on like he should have, but League one might actually help him develop.

Tanner has been injured and isn’t fit. He plays with passion which can’t be said for a lot of the players.

What’s interesting is that a lot of people were saying

‘Top 8 Squad!!! Crazy we aren’t top 8 at least!!!’

Now those same people across multiple threads are calling those same players garbage.

Which is it? Top 8 squad or complete garbage?

Same as the manager situation. Want a manager with experience as a MUST, but then want Ramsey with NO experience.

Ashford is only 20 and will get better. Striker not a winger imo.

I rate ashford and although he didn’t make the right decisions at times yesterday he was in good positions to cause problems for Oxford , when the subs come on there was nothing . He’s a rough diamond I think.
