" Aaron Ramsey suggests he won't want the job permanently "

Mon Apr 21, 2025 6:02 pm

These comments suggest that he just wants to take the remaining games this season.

Aaron Ramsey:

“I am just taking these three games. I'm still recovering from a hamstring operation, I’m still in the middle of rehab and I'm focused on getting back to full fitness. This is a role where it’s going to be an intense 10 days now then I can relax and get back into my rehab. I'm just looking at the next two.”

He still wants to play and thinks he can still offer something on the pitch, these 3 games will do him good to get that taste as that’s what he seems to want to do eventually with already taking his coaching badges

When we get relegated and as Ramsey wants to continue playing. Will he want to stay and play League 1 or will there be no contract for him?

I’m sure there is some agreement in place for him to take the caretaker role now? It would seem a bit off that we have offered him the interim role when he or the club has no ambition for him to be here in League 1

I agree; and if we can get him fit, he could run the show on the pitch next season! :ayatollah:
