Radio Wales reported it as lower key than the last protest.

Re: Breaking Cardiff Fans Protest then:

Mon Apr 21, 2025 2:56 pm

Of course it was lower key. It was a demo not a march. Planned in just 72 hrs.

Also Dalman played a very good hand with the Ramsay appt and when it was published.

This could have denied the demo to insignificant numbers, but 500 plus is a great start.

.....and it's a start!

WBA next...

I think this highlights the problem. Only2.5% of the home attendance turn out to protest, it wasn’t even an effort really it was outside the ground where lots will walk past anyway.

Does this show how the majority of Cardiff fans really feel? Are the happy with tan, I would say most given a choice would want him to leave no doubt, but I would say at the moment most are happy to tolerate him.

It’s a tricky one.

Or is this a decent start for a fledgling protest that will grow and grow?

Didn't think much of it to be honest
Thought it was shit with a few hundred people when I was there. Although my boys enjoyed the blue flair's

A heartfelt massive thank you to those who turned up on their hundreds and supported our peaceful short protest against Tan. I love all City fans. But extra proud of those who went with their voices and beliefs today.

Tan has us adrift now in a terrible position at the bottom, his many years of neglect, decision making and stubbornness have put us here. It’s looking beyond bleak, how many opportunities had this man had to right the wrongs, to do that you have to change things or nothing changes. There been a spinning repetitive cycle of cheap yes men appointments , resulting in awful football, a mish mash unbalanced squad and a decline in attendance and atmosphere, for me it’s even more than that it’s the red seats , Visit Malaysia still plastered everywhere and the oriental dragon, but I appreciate those remnants of the rebrand don’t bother a lot of fans like it does me.

When I protested for the Jacks, I was still in the mindset because of the funding we get from him, that it wasn’t just Tan out. It was Tan change! Hire football people to make football decisions! Better managers, coaches and players! Upwards and onwards! But since that day it’s got even worse with Dalmans broken promises and Tans handling of the worryingly fragile Riza. So it has to be Tan Out.

The team we may be exchanging places in North Wales with , which I dread, have rich owners who admitted they knew nothing about football, so they did the opposite to Tan hired football people, and look what’s happened. The community and club are united as one and stronger than ever bouncing up the leagues. We are the polar opposite. Tan has divided fans from the day he announced his rebrand plans. As I said nothings changed.

Thanks again bluebirds, I think we should do it again for WBA. We almost got that win , a freak worldy wonder goal put pay to that

They should have turned up then.

It's like some thought the problems were over when Riza want, which is crazy.

A lot won't like what i say here, but i think a lot of fans' demonstration will be felt in the season ticket renewals.

Apathy reigns.

Decided today i will renew, but i won't be in a rush.

The trains not running wrecked plans for a lot of fans

I was there and was really disappointed.

It was a really poor turnout. No blame to the organisers or us that attended but probably didn’t even cross Tan’s radar.

I estimated about 300 out of a crowd of 23,000.

Absolutely no blame at all for the organisation.
As the saying goes you lead the horse to water but you can’t make it drink.
I’ve touched upon it before most city fans aren’t really that bothered it’s they Saturday afternoon couple of hours out and then look forward to the next game regardless of ownership or the state of the club.

Are there plans for one at West Brom?

Thank you Gents,

But this is how fickle some are , when we lost to Sheffield United thousands wanted this.

A quick change in Manager and they virtually All Disappeared , BUT IT WAS NOT ABOUT THE MANAGER IT WAS ABOUT THE HIERARCHY END OFF.

PC Simon Chivers gave me the figure of 550 plus.

Others can do it in future.

I’ve done 10 Protests in My Life, some of the kind of fans we have now don’t deserve us to fight for our club.

I hand the reigns over to Jonny.

Can’t work our fan base out,I think tans ripped the heart out of it all it’s like people can’t be arsed and it’s so sad to see we used to be a proud club,I get when people say oh the lower leagues had the best laughs etc and that but surely everyone can see how long it took us to get to the championship and tan was meant to come in and take us to the next level if everything he’s took us back 20 years honestly can’t stand the guy he’s an absolute wanker
