Its time for a Taxi for Tan ,dalman and choo

Sun Apr 20, 2025 2:15 pm

As many will know on here,I've been probably tans biggest supporter over the years , definitely seen our best days under his ownership but for a couple of seasons now it's gone stale,

it just isn't working any more, I'm not sure that Tan is bothered that much anymore tbh, thanks for pumping millions into us each year and I'm greatful for this but this season he's totally got it wrong, we had a perfect chance when we got rid of Bulut to get an available decent manager in but instead gave it to riza, who we all could see was totally out of his depth from the start , I still believe this squad is a good squad and base to work with for the right management, tan has spent 100s of millions on us but kept with dalman and choo which I feel is his biggest mistake they all need to go , they are quite happy milking the money each year off tan and bascally wasting it .We need a fresh start , new owners not looking in the past with dalman or sam etc but that's easier said than done , I don't want tan gone at all cost but a peaceful transition to new owners that can take us to the next level would be great .

I'm more confident with rambo that he should get this squad up for a fight next two home games and hopefully we can stay up .

Relegation if it does happen is totally on Tan.

I've been saying for a few years tan should invest more or sell up ,the problem is i see is he is investing but we are going no where , a fresh new start would be the best .I really hope the rumour of dalman buying tan out isn't true as I see him as a major problem too .

He came in when the club were on a high.
We could have been a Leicester.

Even our Tan highs were tinged in trauma.

The soul being sucked out of the club is so sad to see.
I’ve wanted him gone for many years.
He offered nothing but more debt.

The disconnect is toxic. The stadium experience a chore.
They need to go and maybe we can breathe again.

This clutch and brakes management is fckd. Need a jump start now!

Agree a new start is needed .

Wez, we have not necessarily seen eye to eye on a number of things.

I respect that you had an opinion on Tan and didn't waiver from that just to appease anyone or be 'part of the majority' ( so to say)

For you to post as above is most ( without sounding like Tan) honourable.

We have so much more in common on Cardiff City than we have differences.

"Gone stale" is an excellent description.

Wez for me Tan was never the right guy from the beginning.

He came into the club looking to make money. That is the wrong attitude if you want to own a football club. We were in the top places in reach of the Premier monies and that is all he saw. He tried to get there on the cheap, ask Dave Jones, but realised he needed to invest. As you know Malky got us there with some investment but then made a right mess of the extra investment when we did get to the Premier. Tan refused to invest any more which makes my next statement difficult to believe but that is when he really needed to invest to get those players in that would have kept us up. To me that was his biggest mistake.

Since then we have gone downhill and makes Warnocks era a glitch on our way down. Tan has lost total interest and wants his money back. He is not going to get that and really should count his loss and get out. As you say its easy to say that when its not your money but his asset is about to become less.

Its like a loveness marriage. The kids have grown up and left and you're thinking, whats the point of this? Both parties are going through the motions.

I used to purchase our season tickets straight away, then it was the last day in 2022, 30 mins before the close of early bird in 2023 and last season was weeks after deadline. I am determined not to buy one next season unless i see a change of strategy. I know i'll renew our tickets, but probably mid-August after our hols. I never considered L1 starts even earlier :o

Giving the job to riza was criminal in my eyes ,another wasted season that should of been different .

This is exactly how I’ve felt mate, tan was meant to come in and give us that push that no owner has achieved and keep us in the prem and push us on to the next level, and sadly he never did,and ever since the rebrand the club as just been toxic and not a good place,it’s time for fresh start new owners and new direction because the club desperately needs it
