This weekend many in Ireland are celebrating the Proclamation of the Irish Republic following the Easter Rising in 1916 of which is a very powerful document (See Below).

Anyway I thought I would write our own Proclamation on what it means to take back control of our club and what it means to recover the Bluebird Republic.
Pobl Caerdydd – The Proclamation of the Bluebird Republic Easter, 2025In the name of Cardiff, and of the loyal Bluebirds of Wales:
We, the supporters of Cardiff City Football Club, in unity and defiance, do hereby proclaim our right to dignity, identity, and ownership over the club that bears our city’s proud name. From the terraces of Ninian Park to the seats of the Cardiff City Stadium, we have endured — and today, we rise.
We declare the independence of Cardiff City Football Club from foreign tyranny, commercial desecration, and the betrayal of our traditions. We stand for a club governed by passion, community, and honour, not by the greed of absentee owners or the whims of rebranding dictators.
The club of Fred Keenor and John Toshack, of the Grange End roar and the Canton Stand song, shall not be sold for silver nor stripped of soul. Our colours are blue, our spirit unbowed, our identity untouchable.
We pledge to every supporter — young and old, near and far — that this club shall be reclaimed in your name. We seek not personal gain, but the restoration of something greater: the heart of a city and the pride of a people.
We call upon the people of Cardiff, and all who cherish the soul of the game, to rally with us. Let no Bluebird stand silent. Let no injustice pass unchallenged.
We place the cause of our club under the protection of our heritage, our unity, and the undying fire of the fans. In this hour, we stand firm — not as customers, but as guardians.
Cardiff belongs to its people.
Signed on behalf of the people of the terraces,
This Easter, 2025.
I tried to write something powerful because this is what the club means to me. I hope many share those views.
