An improved performance from the Bluebird team today, which put the Blades under pressure for the first parts of the game until a somewhat ‘lucky’ for the Blades but not unlike Bluebirds type of error, produced the opening goal of the game

After weathering the following storm, during which the Blades hit the post from a free kick, the Bluebirds slowly got back into the game and made changes at half-time that (for me) had an effect; but sadly, not enough of one and the Blades were comfortable in the end

Disappointing is an understatement and we can only wish a few of our injured players had been available

However, there were some good performances and for me, it was our captain, Callum O’Dowda
