Thank you Omer

Fri Apr 18, 2025 8:38 am

I had been to a few games before but my first full season supporting City was 66/67 and we were in the same position roughly as we are now, bottom 3 of the 2nd tier. I remember it well, at Easter we beat Plymouth 4-1 on the Saturday and on Easter Monday we had a rare away win at Pompey 2-1. The team battled hard and we avoided the drop. Over the years from then I've seen highs and lows, we've had poor teams and poor managers and I've seen a few relegations and a few promotions. But I've never known a City team go on the park and look as if they don't care, and an alleged manager who stands in the tech area with his hands in his pockets with no idea what to do.
So thank you Omer, today is the first matchday that I haven't woken up with the excitement of watching a game, even in the dark times the match was anticipated and I looked forward to it, but not now, not with this shower and a manager who blames everyone bar himself, a clown who calls me clueless. I dread to think what Sheff Utd will do to us today, maybe Riza will set us up in a 10-0-0 formation and play for a 0-0 draw. Thanks again, for getting the club I still love into a complete shambles. :( :( :(

Surely it’s Tan you should be thanking for that?

Of course the root cause is emperor Tan, but Riza being the manager should at the very least have this gutless squad fighting for the shirt/club.

Yes, same feeling. I've only being watching the team since 76 though. At least in the dark days of Div 4, the team battled and had passion. Risa has drained that from this team

Yes thank you Omer for taking us down you have put yourself first because of greed for the money. An experienced manager Lenny Lawrence got us into the championship in 2003 it was not easy, and because you wouldn’t walk away for your own selfish reasons you have taken us down. Do not take any more contracts your buddy Tan offers you for next season, we do not want you here.

A bit premature there by any standards, fella!

None of us are exactly ‘happy’ with the situation but as dire as it looks, don’t put us down until we are mathematically down. Shows a defeatists attitude and just feeds the Ducks! :(

The mighty ducks would have done a better job , I really am defeated have been for a while now . The way he changes every starting 11 hasn’t given the team chance to gel I have no hope . Last chance saloon for a manager was Luton. If we stay up I will apologise and thank the guy.
