The positive thread

Yes, it’s near impossible to be positive about our current predicament with the team likely to be playing in league one next season but…… let’s try.

1. The great reset - we can clear out dead wood, play some youngsters and rebuild
2. It might speed up Tan’s exit, a big might there mind
3. New teams to play and a potential derby against Wrexham if they mess it up
4. Might it force Tan to take advice from football men, should he stay?

I’m struggling now, anyone else?

We could possibly go to Wembley in the Football League Trophy.

Clutching at straws a bit with that though, we will probably lose in the first round.

Plus new teams to visit which excites me  negative I can’t see us getting back up to the championship probably in my lifetime.

Does that mean I’ll have to change my pin from 1927 to 2026?

We probably won’t get far enough in the Mickey Mouse trophy to even need to think about it :D

Not trying to be negative but, we say every season about clearing the deadwood, we never do, we always replace with other players who become deadwood.
I can’t see Tan leaving until at least Sala case resolved
New teams I agree with. ( I wouldn’t call Wrexham a derby as they are nowhere near us)
Tan won’t take advice, he’s stubborn

Isaak Davies who yes will be great League 1

Etete will be a future Balon D’or winner :bluescarf: :D

I know mate, I’m trying to glean some positives where there aren’t many.

The day Tan leaves I’m throwing a massive party and everyone is invited :D
